We love seeing our patients getting creative with their home exercise program! Here we have prone press ups + over pressure created from her dog 🐶 (Also another point for me when I try to convince my girlfriend we need a big dog and not a small one 😅🤞🏽)

Welcome to our workplace! Solutions Sports and Spine holds an office inside Kabuki Strength Systems in Clackamas, Oregon.

Kabuki is on a mission to make the world a better place through strength. They do this in four distinct ways:

1. Manufacturing novel strength equipment to push the boundaries of health, performance, and strength.
2. Research-based education.

Our next introduction goes to our associate chiropractor, Dr. Chris Dominic!

Dr. Dominic received a bachelors in Kinesiology from Oregon State University in 2017, and then went on to get his doctorate in chiropractic at the University of Western States. He was president of the Rehab2Performance club for nearly 2 years at UWS, helping teach students about various philosophies and systems of rehab and movement.

His training is formed from many schools of thought, including but not limited to Neurodynamics, Mckenzie Method, DNS, StrongFirst Kettlebells, Olympic Lifting, Dermal Traction Method, Stecco Fascial Manipulation, Neurocentric Approach, SFMA, and FMS. He works closely with Dr. Phillip Snell, a renowned expert in the management of lumbar disc injuries, lecturing internationally on the subject.

His practice style focuses on finding the cause of your symptoms, educating you as to why you are in pain, and teaching you how to reduce your pain on your own while simultaneously improving longevity and function. He helps everybody from world record holders and division 1 athletes to folks just trying to sit at their desk for a few more hours. Our skill set is versatile enough to manage a wide range of conditions from plantar fasciitis to chronic knee pain, unrelenting shoulder pain, or low back and neck pain. Book in for a live in person or telehealth consult at DrPhillipSnell.com.

Welcome to our Instagram account! In our first introduction, the president of Solutions Sports and Spine.

Dr. Phillip Snell has a clinical chiropractic practice, Solutions Sports and Spine Inc, which resides in Kabuki Strength in Clackamas, OR as well as working one day a week at Evolution Healthcare and Fitness in Portland, OR. His practice is focused on rehab of lumbar disc herniations and sports injuries. He manages patients as diverse as world record holding athletes to folks just wanting to remain active in their life. Dr. Snell’s practice is particularly suited to the aging former athlete who longs to return to higher levels of function and play. He leverages deep training in many rehab schools of thought with a heavy leaning toward the DNS work of Pavel Kolar from the Czech Republic, the work of Stuart McGill, the work of Gray Cook and a great deal of work in the use of kettlebells for training. Dr. Snell also utilizes a variety of manual methods including Fascial Manipulation, myofascial trigger point therapy, positional release and neural dynamics. Along with Dr. Justin Dean, Dr. Snell co-created the neurocentric manual therapy technique known as Dermal Traction Method (DTM).

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Snell maintains adjunct faculty status at University of Western States and lectures internationally on use of exercise interventions to help manage lumbar disc herniations, a process known as the FixYourOwnBack Method. That work was informed by his own disc injury and the subsequent combination of rehab therapies that he put together to manage this often incredibly painful condition. If you can’t make an appointment to come and see Dr. Snell in Portland, you can get the whole program online at FixYourOwnBack.com. You can also schedule a 60 minute teleconference with Dr. Snell at DrPhillipSnell.com
